Emmanuel Eze Foundation Non-Discrimination Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

The Emmanuel Eze Foundation is committed to fostering an environment of respect, equality, and inclusivity. This Non-Discrimination Policy applies to all our activities, including but not limited to employment, volunteer work, grantmaking, and programs. It extends to all employees, volunteers, beneficiaries, partners, and contractors.

2. Policy Statement

The Emmanuel Eze Foundation strictly prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind based on race, ethnicity, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, or disability. We are dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone associated with our Foundation.

3. Implementation

Recruitment and Employment: Employment decisions at the Foundation, including hiring, promotion, and termination, will be based solely on qualifications, skills, knowledge, and experience, without regard to any of the aforementioned characteristics.
Programs and Grantmaking: In administering programs and awarding grants, the Foundation will ensure equal opportunity and fair treatment for all applicants and beneficiaries.
Training and Awareness: Regular training sessions will be conducted to educate staff and volunteers on the importance of this policy and to ensure its effective implementation.

4. Reporting and Compliance

Any individual who believes they have been subjected to discrimination or harassment is encouraged to report the incident to the designated Foundation official.
Reports will be investigated promptly and confidentially, and appropriate corrective action will be taken.
Retaliation against any individual for reporting discrimination or harassment is strictly prohibited.

5. Review and Amendment

This policy will be reviewed annually and may be amended as necessary to reflect the ongoing commitment of the Emmanuel Eze Foundation to non-discrimination and inclusivity.
